Welcome. As we get the time this is where we are going to display frequently asked questions paired with our best answers.

How Are the Top-Ranked Pools Determined?
The top-ranked pool is the pool which has the best brackets. This is determined by summing the points awarded to each bracket in the pool and then dividing that total by the number of brackets in the pool to yield a bracket average points awarded. The pool with the highest average is the top-ranked pool. The "expand view" pop-up window will show the details relative to those pools, i.e. pool owner, number of brackets, best bracket, best bracket owner, points, CP, etc.

Are All Pools Evaluated When Determining the Top-Ranked Pools for a Tournament?
The simple answer is No. To be considered for the honor of one of the "Top Three" pools, the pool must contain at least 3 brackets. It just wouldn't be fair to evaluate a pool that only contained 1 or 2 brackets when some pools contain 15-20 brackets.

The Tournament Has Started and My Pool Has Disappeared from the Standings Page. Where Did it Go?
Depending on the volume of pools and brackets that have been created by the users, all pools which only contain 1 bracket may have been deleted from the system to preserve system resources when bracket ranking and top-ranked pool calculations are performed. This action is performed when "Lockdown" is achived (i.e. the tournament has started). Let's face it... A pool which only contains 1 bracket isn't much of a pool.
